Where to Go With a Group in Oslo

Oslo has decent options for groups of most sizes. The right choice depends on how many you are, what people are up for, and how much you want to organise.

ACTIVITY VENUES

Boulders Oslo (climbing) works well for smaller groups. Megasenter in Skøyen has bowling and laser tag. Escape rooms are scattered around the city — Trapped is one of the more established. All require some booking ahead.

PUB & BAR OPTIONS

For something that combines a bar with something to do: Red Rabbit on Stortingsgata 12 has four dartboards with automatic scoring. Kulturhuset on Youngstorget is large and relaxed, good for bigger, looser groups. Both are central.

SIZE CONSIDERATIONS

Under 10: most places handle this without fuss. 10–20: worth messaging ahead to confirm space. 20–40: Red Rabbit’s basement is worth considering for a private group. Over 40: you’ll want a venue that specialises in events.
