Oslo weather does not always ask what you had planned. Fortunately, staying indoors does not have to mean a hotel room and an open tab on the weather forecast. There are plenty of things worth doing in the city centre, and most of them are within reasonable walking distance of each other.

The National Museum is the largest and genuinely worth more than an afternoon. The Nobel Peace Center and the Historical Museum are both central and more manageable in a few hours. The National Theatre is worth checking for what's on while you're in town.
Depending on your group, central Oslo also has escape rooms and a few other structured options. Better to search specifically for what suits you than to rely on a single list โ availability and quality vary.
Smart Darts at Red Rabbit sits somewhere between activity and going to a pub. You can play properly, stop after one game or ignore the boards entirely. Nobody is issued rules or equipment โ just the boards, the scoring system and a drink. Three boards can be booked. One is kept for drop-ins.
If you want something more social than a museum but less organised than an escape room, Smart Darts sits neatly in between. Have a game, have a drink, or do both badly. Nobody minds.
